The country's largest donor-supported mentoring network has named Max Miller as its new chief administrative officer and treasurer of the organization's board of directors.
Miller, who earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, will manage all legal matters with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of America. He will also oversee the group's information technology, human resources, diversity and finance operations.
Prior to joining BBBS, Miller served as the director of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law's Innovation Practice Institute. He has also held managerial roles with H.J. Heinz Company, worked as an attorney for Federated Investors and served as a board member for Kids' Voice, a nonprofit organization that advocates for abused and abandoned children.
"Max comes to our network with an impressive organizational, managerial and legal background together with a proven commitment to serving children who face adversity," said Karen Mathis, BBBS President and Chief Executive Officer.
Miller received his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania before earning his MBA. The Kellogg School of Management, which partners with the Hong Kong UST Business School, was recently named the world's best executive MBA program by Financial Times magazine. |
