An MBA holder has been named the vice president of investor relations for Rockwell Collins.
Steve Buesing, who received his business degree from the University of Iowa, was officially named the successor to Dan Swenson on October 6. Buesing's promotion comes after serving as the controller of operations for Rockwell Collins, a U.S.-based corporation that specializes in aviation and information technology services to governmental agencies.
In his new role, Buesing will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with financial analysts. He will also direct the communications between the company and the shareholders.
According to Business Week, Rockwell Collins is projecting a net income increase in fiscal year 2011. The news source reported that the 2010 net income was projected to be about $3.50 per share, and the company expects it to land somewhere between $3.75 and $3.95 in 2011.
Last month, the company announced that it joined an initiative to improve widespread literacy in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. |
