| Professor at Harvard Business School receives prestigious award |

Harvard has announced that a professor in its business school has won the McKinsey Award, a prize that is given annually by the Harvard Business Review to the authors of the top two articles of the year. Clayton Christenson, who teaches in the university's MBA program, was honored for his article titled How Will You Measure Your Life-
Christenson's article, which is based on his commencement speech to Harvard's graduating class of 2010, was published in the Business Review's July-August edition. His writing focused on the lessons that he has learned throughout his life regarding personal happiness and success, and presented a set of guidelines that have helped him find meaning in his existence.
"Christensen's piece resonated with our readers in ways that few articles do," said Adi Ignatius, the editor-in-chief of the Harvard Business Review. "It was honest, moving, and wise - and offered profound lessons for anyone, at any stage of their lives."
Christenson has won this award four times since 1992, the year in which he joined the Harvard Business School Faculty. |
