A leading developer of mobile learning applications recently announced the release of an MBA course for the iPad.
Intersog, which has created many popular lifestyle and gaming applications, has created Pocket MBA-Cost Management: Accounting and Control program, which is designed specifically to train managers and entrepreneurs on cost management strategies.
The Pocket MBA course includes a course text, interactive flash cards, compartmentalized tests and graphic study aides. The course, which is currently available for download at the iTunes App store, also allows the student share information with friends by using Facebook, Twitter and e-mail.
There are several technological advancements at the Harvard Business School, as well. According to Harbus.org, the college recently implemented a new mobile version of "classcards," which allow MBA students to obtain contact information for students, faculty and staff via their cell phones.
The school also increased its e-mail quota for students. MBA students who were limited to maintaining 450 megabytes worth of e-mails online will be able to store one gigabyte in November. |
