| Project Management Institute recognizes top MBA program |

Due to the economic downturn, jobs in traditional business fields - such as finance and accounting - have become scarce. As a result, professionals who wish to launch lucrative careers may want to consider honing their expertise in similar, but faster-growing sectors.
Project management may be a good option for these individuals, as business schools and industry experts alike are beginning to recognize the growing need for professionals who can plan, execute and regulate certain initiatives.
"Projecting management skills, including the ability to effectively execute projects and identify and manage project risks will be some of the most sought-after skills over the next five years," said John R. Adams, a lead professor at Brenau University.
Officials from the school recently announced that the Project Management Institute named it a Registered Education provider for its MBA program in project management.
Graduates of similar courses of study may be eligible for management analyst positions, which typically pay more than $70,000 per year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. |
